Policies

OFFICE HOURS are by appointment:  12 - 7 pm Monday -Thursday; 5 - 7pm Friday and 10 am - 4 pm Saturday.  After reviewing these policies, you may schedule online, call me at 214.802.2430 or email massage@laurahuebner.com to schedule your massage, bodywork or spa therapy session.  I provide chair massage at Spiral Diner - Oak Cliff on Fridays 12 - 3 pm on a first come, first serve basis.
 
PAYMENT is due at the time service is rendered unless arrangements have been made in advance.  I accept cash, personal checks, MasterCard and Visa in office and PayPal for online payments.  If you are paying via PayPal for an in-office service, please do so no later than the day prior to your appointment to allow time for the receipt of notification of payment.  If an on-line payment cannot be verified at the time service is rendered, another form of payment will be required.

 
 
LATE ARRIVALS AND NO-SHOWS
To ensure full 'table-time' please be ready to begin your session at your scheduled appointment time.  If schedules permit, LATE ARRIVALS will be given full time, but this cannot be guaranteed. If the session is cut short due to late arrival, the best possible use will be made of the remaining time and the client is expected to pay for the full scheduled service.
 
If a client is 15 minutes late and has not contacted me to let me know an approximate arrival time, s/he will be considered a NO-SHOW, and the scheduled time may not be held.  Clients who NO-SHOW are expected to pay for their scheduled service prior to re-booking.

CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING
If you find you must CANCEL or RESCHEDULE your appointment, please do so at least 24 hours in advance.  LATE CANCELLATIONS or RESCHEDULES that are more than one week (7 days) out will be expected to pay the full session fee for the missed appointment before further service can be provided.
 
CHANGING SCHEDULED SERVICE TYPE
If you wish to change your service type (from a Wellness Massage to a Body Wrap or Hot Stone, for instance) please do so at least 24 hours in advance.  Every attempt to accommodate  service changes will be made, but can not be guaranteed with less than 24 hours notice.
 
 

STATE REGULATIONS
I adhere to all State of Texas Laws regarding Massage Therapy, including:  completion of an intake form providing a brief medical history and personal information is required prior to a clients first session;  all services are preformed with the client discretely draped or clothed in exercise-type apparel, depending on the service being provided; I do not provide breast massage on female clients without prior written authorization; I do not provide massage in the genital area - ever; I make no guarantee of the results of any service I provide; I do not diagnose any condition nor do I prescribe any medication, exercise or other therapies; I only provide services that fall within the scope of practice for Registered Massage Therapists in the State of Texas.


TERMINATION OF SERVICE
I reserve the right to terminate any session for any reason I deem fit.  If I should find it necessary to terminate a session due to inappropriate client behavior (such as sexually suggestive conversation or action, for instance), the client will be expected to pay the full session fee and leave the premises immediately.  If I feel I am simply unable to provide the service a client desires, I may end the session at any time and pro-rate the session fee.  If a client feels I am not providing the desired service, and after providing proper feedback believes I am unable to do so, s/he may terminate the session.  If this is done in the first half of the session, there will be no charge to the client.  If the client terminates the service in the last half of the session, 50% of the session fee will be due. 

 

 

REFERRAL AND TESTIMONIAL BONUSES

I reward my clients for referring family and friends. A gift certificate valued at 20% of the first session fee is given as an expression of my appreciation.  The person listed as the referral source on a new client intake form is the person to whom the bonus is issued. In the event more than one referral source is listed, the bonus will be split evenly between all listed sources. Referral bonuses do not apply to gifts. Current clients can receive 10% off their next visit for providing a written testimonial of my services.  This offer is limited to one per client.  Contact me for more information.

 

 

 

 

All linens, tools and equipment that come in contact with a client are cleaned and disinfected with a hospital-grade disinfectant or bleach after each use.
